“ long story short, food was great .. service not so good .. while eating apps our dinner came out .. the runner said where can I put these (small round table) I said back in the kitchen... then the girl seating people asked if we wished to move to a larger table to fit our dinners on top of apps.. I said no thank you .. long wait between visits from the waitress.. I still would go back food is really good. ”
“ In the mood for a burger, we spent about an hour reviewing FB posts and Yelp reviews, ending up planning a trip to a specialty burger restaurant about 25 miles away. Approaching Beach Rd. we suddenly decided to abandon the long drive and just go try The Waverly for the first time, whether they have burgers or not. Well, they do, and they're fantastic!! Service was friendly and prompt. We sat inside/upstairs because it was a bit chilly outside, and the interior decor is super cozy and warm, with a fantastic beach view. Burger was nice and thick and perfectly cooked (his medium-well, mine medium), on a brioche bun, with lettuce, tomato, and pickle spear. One side included. His fries were hot, crisp, and delicious, though not a huge portion. My coleslaw was very good and ample. We didn't have drinks but they do have a good selection of draft beers and the cocktail menu looks great. The menu looks wonderful, and it was difficult to stick with my burger quest. I want to go back asap for their Rainbow Roll. ”

“ A nice beach spot! The food here is top tier-and the service is as well! Plan to come on a Monday for "Martini Monday" when the martinis are $8.00 each! The group I was here with was delighted! And really enjoyed their drinks. We also had the oysters and the big pretzel as an appetizer. Both were good. We ordered the fish and chips and I had the Hamburger as my entree. It was an ordinary restaurant hamburger-nothing special-it was perfectly cooked and I would definitely order it again The fish and chips were outstanding! So consider that for your entree! ”
